Pros & Cons Reviews

    Positive Reviews

I’ve had a great experience with Liquid Web. Their dedicated server plans don’t come with hidden fees or confusing upgrade paths. Every email lands on time and I’ve found their customer service helpful from the start, clear, quick and consistent. It’s refreshing to feel like a valued client.

    Negative Reviews

Firstly their servers are HELL SLOW. Your simple website with no-rich media loads f*cking slow. If you are having an e-commerce website or any other even a little more with images, forget about loading time even if you are just starting however small. Even they are cheating, I have a reseller plan and they say on the website it provides you 2 GB of RAM for each sub-Cpanel (or each reseller account) but on checking I found that they are just giving 256 MB of RAM. And when you approach them they say they are providing and GIVE A RUDE REPLY WHEN THEY ARE PROVED WRONG when you share them the proof with screenshots. The support is SO ANNOYING THEY JUST QUIT CHAT IN BETWEEN CONVERSATION without providing proper support and you cannot restart the chat you have quit the browser and reconnect to any other support agent. Every time they try to blame yourself, like clear the cache (even if have 0mb cache on your browser), your internet speed is slow (even your internet speed in 100Mbps), you have done proper CMS installations, "don't contact us without any proper issue" (I mean what the f*ck is this reply from there server support), etc. And every unexpected time they GOD KNOWS WHAT SERVER UPDATE they keep doing that your website is inaccessible many a time when it should be running and up.

FAQs

  • Liquid Web

Why does Liquid Web use Nexcess for WordPress and WooCommerce hosting?

Nexcess is Liquid Web’s specialized platform built specifically for WordPress, WooCommerce and Magento. You purchase through Liquid Web, but the actual hosting dashboard is Nexcess. It’s a structural decision: Liquid Web manages infrastructure and support, while Nexcess handles the application-level tools, staging, backups and ecommerce optimizations.

Do Liquid Web plans really come with unlimited traffic?

Yes. Managed WordPress and WooCommerce plans include no visit caps, no bandwidth throttling and no overage fees. This is valuable for sites that get seasonal spikes, viral traffic or heavy ad campaigns. Your plan isn’t punished for growth.

How does Liquid Web handle website security?

Security is built into the platform: automatic updates, daily malware scans, free SSL, Cloudflare Enterprise, DDoS protection and isolated staging updates. Higher-tier plans bring deeper protections, but even base plans offer more built-in security than many competing hosts.
